You weren't born hating your body or thinking that food is the enemy. This is not innate knowledge... it is a belief system that you LEARNED.

Heal your inner child

Change your belief systems. Sounds easy, right? HA HA HA. It's not (and not really a laughing matter either). I find myself often reminding clients that these beliefs systems were not learned over night (they probably took at least 12-15 years to develop and then the rest of the following years were spent mastering these unhelpful habits and thoughts). Therefore, it takes time to unlearn them and replace them with new beliefs (and also a lot of work!).

I have found in more own journey that one helpful tool in changing perspective is to do everything you can to hear and read new perspectives. Take what is helpful from them and keep moving forward.

Podcasts are one way to do that... and they're FREE!!!!! <3 (of course donate to/support these wonderful hardworking people if you ever feel lead to).

Washing dishes? Vacuuming/mopping? Taking a walk? At the gym? Doing yard work? Driving somewhere? Feeling poopy and in your head? Taking a shower/bath? Need some down/non-screen time before bed? These are all great times for listening to podcasts.... and remember... you don't have to listen to a podcast in one sitting... you can just listen every time you are in the car for 10 minutes at a time!
